PTFE sheet - .005" to .060" thick in 12x12 shts

Generic PTFE (or Teflon® brand by request) plastic sheet comes in a roll in the .005 - .020 thickness. If you order more than 1 pc, it will be cut from a roll. In thicknesses greater than .020, we stock a 48 x 48 and cut to the 12 x 12.

Teflon® is the Du Pont company's tradename for its TFE and FEP fluorocarbon resins. Teflon TFE was the first resin ever developed and has been used in industrial, government and commercial applications such as teflon coatings for over 30 years. Ridout Plastics sells PTFE sheet made from Teflon® resins and powders as well as other brands of PTFE resin.

PTFE has the highest melting point and is capable of continued service at 500°F(260° C). FEP is a melt processible resin capable of continued service at 400°F(204° C). Teflon® products are used as gasket and packing materials in chemical processing equipment; as electrical insulation for maximum reliabillity; and in bearings, seals, piston rings and other mechanical applications, especially those requiring anti-stick characteristics.
