Heavy Duty Plastic Cutting Tool KS2

Swivel Blade Plasticutter

Hardened steel blade scores and cuts acrylic up to 1/4" thick. Swivel blade folds away safely for storage, yet stays in place when scoring. Simply score material and break along straight line.

Simple to use - you just "score" 1 side of the plastic sheet by dragging the tool's hooked edge across the sheet. Use a metal straight edge for best results to guide your path. Make sure that your groove goes all the way to the edges as it's the "notching" that you do that causes the plastic to separate along the groove. (failure to groove to the edge may cause the plastic to separate outside the path you wanted)
