My family has been running Ridout Plastics for 40 years now, and the legacy of the company goes back to 1914. Yes - plastics were cheaper then - so was gasoline.
If you look at the price/performance ratio of today's plastics - they are actually MUCH cheaper than in the 60's.
The only way to get cheap plastic is to buy a plastic that has some deficiency. An economy grade, defective material, overstock material, discountinued material.
The only way to get plastic at a discount is QUANTITY. We will sell you a small piece or a small boatload. Our margin is higher on the small piece and very low on the boatload. It's that simple.
More importantly, we will offer the same high level of service on both types of orders.
